Phone contract stuff.

Have finally decided after umming and ahhing between an iPhone and an HTC Desire for weeks, to get the HTC.
Tried doing it over the internet but they wanted me to scan them over a copy of my passport which i just couldn't be arsed to do. I was just wondering if anyone knows what I have to take with me to get the contract sorted? In the way of ID etc.

I needed proof of ID and address, Driving licence ticked both boxes,

Usually a utility bill and Council tax, plus as mentioned above driving licence.

I've got an HTC Desire, good phone buy the battery isn't the best. Ensure you turn it off mobile internet use when you're not using it!

Have heard that the phone is practically flawless other than battery life. Apparently it doesn't automatically close apps automatically either or something?
Looks to be a hell of a lot better than an iPhone though after a bit of reflection.

The top end HTCs and iPhones are neck and neck, with pretty much all other smartphones miles behind. Personal opinion, anyway.

i didnt have to provide anything with mobiles .co.uk

as for the phone i have a desire and make sure you drain the battery completely before fully recharging it for a couple weeks , this will get the most out of the battery

you can download an app called task killer which will call all the things your phone does freeing up memory and thus making the battery last longer. youll be surprised what the phone starts doing.

Through phone contracts I have managed to get a new 32inch Samsung TV, a 64gb iPod Touch (on it's way now), an iPod Nano (for the missus) and £125 cash.

Well worth using if you find ones that aren't too much hassle.
