the 5p off is for deliveries leaving the terminals after 6pm not the fuel already in the tanks at the petrol stations

Had similar issues on Saturday returning from Arsenal. only got fuel at the third place I tired, and then half the pumps were shutdown.

I just wonder if the Government have learnt their lesson from last time, and have decided not to say 'don't panic' as everyone will panic if they do,

Probably answers my own question. Looks like the south of England being targeted by these protestors. Clearly some people not bothered by the cost of living crisis they are making worse.

Lots of garages without diesel in the Worthing area. Found some in the Jet garage near the A24/A27 junction this morning though. Was running low and struggling to make the trip to Herts tomorrow otherwise. Crazy times.

Kay Burley was stoking it this morning on Sky News ... telling her own personal story from yesterday where the first few service stations she tried were closed and then found one that had loads of pumps closed and just a few open.

She then made the point that she wasn't suggesting people should panic buy ... she was just saying what happened to her
