5p reduction in duty from 6pm tonight. Lets see if this is immediately reflected in the price. It should be.

the 5p off is for deliveries leaving the terminals after 6pm not the fuel already in the tanks at the petrol stations

5p off the extra 9p in VAT another classic tory budget.

Now I'm cycling to work I'm more concerned about the cost of red wine and sausages, thats what my bike runs on.

Good to see Rishi Sunak filling up his Kia Rio today taking advantage of the 5p fuel duty cut.

Sunak's got it sorted. 5p off.

£1.95 a litre it will be then.

P.S. Since we still judge fuel efficiency on a basis of MPG, can we now go back to programming the pumps to show price per gallon (scary as the figures might be!) now that we have .... errmmmm ....

....ssssshhhh .....

.... whisper it quietly so as not to upset anyone .............

.....err ............ left?

Seems to be issues with fuel again locally …Shell closed…Tesco all but closed …Shoreham service station nearly out
(This was yesterday)

extinction rebellion involved in some protest at fuel depots, disrupting supplies.

Had similar issues on Saturday returning from Arsenal. only got fuel at the third place I tired, and then half the pumps were shutdown.

I just wonder if the Government have learnt their lesson from last time, and have decided not to say 'don't panic' as everyone will panic if they do,

Lots of garages without diesel in the Worthing area. Found some in the Jet garage near the A24/A27 junction this morning though. Was running low and struggling to make the trip to Herts tomorrow otherwise. Crazy times.

Kay Burley was stoking it this morning on Sky News ... telling her own personal story from yesterday where the first few service stations she tried were closed and then found one that had loads of pumps closed and just a few open.

She then made the point that she wasn't suggesting people should panic buy ... she was just saying what happened to her
