Only pics I remember in papers this year while dashing past to find football or other sport news are 3 separate of male players on beaches etc. topless, not seen any like that of women so maybe the sexism is being reversed? Or maybe women are more into tennis? Maybe guys just watch it to perv? No idea and to be honest don't care so not sure why typing this lmao

She's done really well, been vey strong all fortnight and is a deserving champ, as her performance in the final shows. Also comes across as a very nice person in interviews. She's a sportswoman, not a model, and a damn good one. I'm not about to criticise the looks of someone who is one of the best in the world at what they do.

Unless someone is trading off their looks, it's pretty out of order to make those sort of comments.

But you are correct, women are never as shallow - they will take into consideration the size of the wallet, and the power from being a celeb.

Personally, I think that Kvitova is a fine young lady. That's mainly because she is a leftie. She beat the Bulgarian Beauty, which was a vast disappointment, but I'm glad she did because anything which stopped the screamer winning Wimbledon again can only have been a good thing. No offence to Maria, who butters many crumpets, but that sound is not attractive or neccessary.

It's also true that that's a terrible picture of her - she's no Kournikova/Sharapova, granted - but the photo used is hardly a fair representation...
