Peterborough have El Bad as our Weak Link

sorry if fixtures but just saw this on the official posh site:

The weak link - Adam El-Abd.
Adam graduated to the pro ranks in his final year as a scholar, signing professional forms at Christmas 2003. He made his full League debut for the club in the 2-1 win at Notts County in November 2003. He has since been a regular in the first-team squad, and can play at right-back, centre-half or in the centre-midfield holding role. He is known for losing his head and can offer the speedy posh counter-attacks a way through.

fixtures I'm afraid but still worth commenting on because it is such a sad misjudgement you have to wonder where they got the idea from

and in fairness it had slipped onto page 2

He he, if they think they are going to get ANY change out of him, they are very sadly mistaken. It would be like a QB deciding he's going to pick on Darrell Revis when facing the Jets. I wonder which of the Peterborough forwards will be stranded on El-Abd Island this Saturday.

Just listened to their podcast that has been posted on here, and he was described as having CMS in his pocket for the match at their place.

I'm surprised that they've put something like that on an official site. Its a BIT disrespectful, to my mind, and can only serve to fire up the opposition anyway.

Maybe they are thinking of the last time we played them at home? I remember El-Abd tripping Boyd for a pen and the stick Boyd got.

Do we even have a weak link these days?
I always thought it was full back when our first choice were injured or suspended, but then Tanno steps in and we win three on the bounce.

I've concluded we're just plain old f***ing brilliant, as 3 points ahead with a game in hand would suggest.

To any posh fans and scouts reading this thread.

Don't listen to them on here. El Abd is the weak link. May I suggest if you really want to exploit his weakness that you advise your players to out muscle him...

I disagree entirely. El Abd's done okay. Our weak link is definitely Murray. He is useless, and not worth even bothering to mark.

Ankergren is a slight weak link. Won't come and catch crosses and opts to punch instead.

Are you having a Giraffe - Casper is one of the main reasons we are where we are!

But I'm guessing that info on Adam was taken from a couple of years back? It could have been said about him then but if they'd actually done any scouting this season they'd certainly know different!
