If we boo Taylor we really should be hurling abuse at Coppell imo. Unbelievable, to me , that anyone would consider booing a man who won us a Championship

Navigated us to one of the most prestigious, and unlikely, honours in our history and left us at a point in the close season which maximised our chance of getting a successor in (a chance we blew).

Worth a clap, but not adoration.

erm Micky Adams team could have won that on its own, essentially- he knew we were near enough a cert for promotion then left when he wasnt given a couple of million to blow on Junior Lewis alikes...

No reason to boo a blocke that basicly did a good job and got us promoted. If we'd had a stadium with decent facilitys and some revenue to spend on players he would have stayed. I don't think you can blame the bloke for being honest and not wanting to be the manager who took us down again.

Even though Reading and Cardiff had much better players? I seem to remember we were nowhere near the best footballing side and ground out results that had fans gnashing their teeth with frustration. Taylor was responsible for grinding out those results, personally doubt MA would have got us the 2nd Championship,
