Peter Taylor on Sky football update

Interviewed at Withdean. Only good things to say about how he reckons we'll be there or thereabouts and expecting us to win tonight. Also said how good Knight and Henderson were how much he enjoyed being at the Albion. Finished by saying how hard it was for opposition teams to come to Withdean and how good Albion fans were.

I know loads of you can't stand him but he has fond memories of you

Always felt Taylor got poorly treated by the fans. He took a good Div 3 team and helped them grind out results in Div 2. At times it was not pretty football, but it was effective and we did have BZ to convert half chances. Matches at the likes of Reading, Brizzle City, Peterboro, Colchester, Bury etc will live long in the memory

Peter Taylor did well for us and in a way he was right about what was going to happen.

I think he deserves a good reception.

Got a lot of stick tonight, felt a bit sorry for him really. I'm not his biggest fan but he didn't completely f*** the team up! (we won't mention David Lee and Phil Hadland)

Peter Taylor won us the championship by bringing that tall lanky thing from Leicester in on loan.

Seem to remember Pardew trying to take him from under our noses as well best sign up Knight before he tries it again.

Also on tonights performance he can take Henderson back and we'll give McPhee the chance his form deserves.
