PES - Become a Legend

(Before the Fifa mafia start, I KNOW that this feature has existed on fifa games for a while now and PES are slow to introduce it to their games).

Become a legend is fast becoming my favourite ever football gaming experience (although sensible soccer 06/07 on the amiga is still my first true love).

So much so that apart from half a dozen games against a mate at the weekend I haven't yet started my own master league, I've been totally consumed by the legend feature.

I started off at Sunderland and was a well used sub after 4 reserve games and after a few appearances got a regular start as AMF. The team are hopeless but the enjoyment and freedom to make little runs in to space and break down attacks and kick start a counter is unmeasurable.

Nothing riles me more than getting subbed though! I was foolish enough to jump ship to West Ham during the first transfer window and now am competing with 10 midfielders for a starting role and find myself back in the stiffs (not a good move). Somehow managed to lose 5 hours last night due to the legend mode (very bad on a school night).

Anyone else addicted to BAL and how is your career progressing?

I love Fifa 09 for the PC but the Pro mode is a bit shit, make your own player, play loads of games, unless im wrong nothing seems to happen? Pro Evo's become a legend is much better and more of a purpose!

At the end of the season, you get offers from other clubs. Or you can choose to stay on at the club you're at, and make captain but this really depends on if you don't have any kind of inspirations on making the International Cup at the end of the four years.

You can change the camera angle to 'normal' or even a bit wider so you can see more of the action.

I cancelled my legend and started again, being AMF is alot of work as you have to track back and breakdown the opponents midfield play.

I'm now an out an out CF which is much more fun, lazing about on half way waiting for a break and making little runs off the ball trying to find space.

I'm at Wigan and having scored in the last 2 games I'm now in the first XI but keep getting subbed around 70 mins which is so frustrating - bot htimes immediately after I've scored!

The player development is so slow, my legend is painfully slow, passing is weak and shooting is quite weak, all 3 of my goals so far have been headers!

It's very addictive.
