Don't think there have been any real highs so I guess having my Hernia op after waiting a year was a high and the low is the Depression I have had for the past 4 months:down:

Highs: Going To New York, my favourite city in the world.

Lows: The end of one of the better relationships I've had in my life.

Still a million times better than my 2005 was though :)

Highs: Most of late February onwards,

an incredible summer(mostly spent in Brighton but such a laugh),

Any evening in the albert....especially with a certain barmaid working

passing A-Levels,

Progress as a Football Writer.

When all my friends came to London for my 19th, the first time I'd seen them since leaving birthday

Lows:

Getting a really bad skin infection around my ankle just after my 19th birthday, putting me in loads of pain, making me ill and having the horrible feeling of nobody to turn to.

Doubting myself in London, the whole, am I good enough to be at UCL really?

I think I am on the turn around now mate but thanks for the kind thoughts. Having a cheeky little Banana Beer as I type this as Christmas parties are the last thing I want to do.

Forgot the other highlight was nearly making Kev cry by telling him his penalty was over the bar:lolol: :lolol:

Highs, flogging my house for somewhat more than I paid for it two and a half years ago, despite a stagnant housing market, and getting an absolute bargain on the one I subsequently moved in to. Being promoted at work when I had pretty much given up hope, despite having worked my nuts off for the preceding five years.

Lows, not too many, realised that there is more politics at my new grade than the one I was at previously. Discovering that my job will be relocating to the South East in 2008, making the decision that I won't.

However, all things considered, 2006 has been a good year, although not a classic...roll on 2007.

Highs: Listening to my son (who as you know has Asperger's) tell me all about High-Fiving Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam at Leeds this year, have never seen him so animated or happy.

Lows: Albion being relegated, LDC being a bunch of twats and trying to destroy the Albion. Spending Christmas mainly by myself whilst family are away.

Highs: Achieving respectable exam grades, writing about my favourite team completing the Great South Run in 70 minutes, learning to ski whilst going to the USA for the first time.

Lows: Relegation from the Championship, LDC messing us around, not seeing as many of my old mates after I left school and contemplating the fact that next year probably wont be as good as this year.

South East does mean closer to Brighton, however, for the first time in my adult life I am living in a house that I like, in a town that I like and frankly after 20 years of moving around constantly I have had enough. The other thing is that I would get precious little in relocation expenses and would need at least a third of a million to buy a similar house to the one I live in now where my job is going.

Highs, getting back into full time work, leaving Worthing and moving to a far more comfortable location in Kent, deciding to marry again.

Lows, well being laid off would have been but as I walked straight into a better paid and nicer job straight away gives me confidence for the future so I have to say that I don't have any lows !
