I f#%*ing hate traffic wardens!
You don't have to pay for parking. There are alternative means of transport.
Does the car park cost anything to run? Of course it does. I would rather parkers pay for that than it coming out of budgets elsewhere.

How does a car park cost money to run? At the supermarket I can park for up to two hours free, so why does it cost something if I am there for three hours?
I don't know how BG gets away with the hospital parking as both hospitals that I have been to recently have barriers which won't operate without a valid paid up card.
Anybody appealed a PCN through pepipoo, if so did you win?
I will admit I never pay to park on private land which includes railway stations and hospitals as I believe I am using or paying for their services so they should provide parking as per Tesco etc. Most penalties are unenforceable in law and are just a means of getting more money. I am currently fighting a company who put a ticket on my car in Currys Staples car park in Horsham as I left the car in there to continue shopping in Horsham, having been in Currys and not found what I wanted.
The reason I ask is from my user name it is obvious I am a supporter and a couple of of other contributors have passed comment as also being supporters
1. Stations hardly affect me but I believe that the parking fee should be refunded on the train ticket purchased.1) Why on earth should the railways provide you with free parking? I can understand the hospitals, but railway ffs, next you'll be demanding free bus fare to the railway.
2) Why should Currys provide you parking so you can shop just because you're too tight and lazy to pay for parking.
*** cough *** you have just quoted School Run Mum !

Currys do provide free parking - in Hove, Excel just pretend people owe them £100 and idiots pay it or rush to grab the early bird discount(!). It's not about being too lazy to pay, in a free car park. In the OP's case, JAS certainly have no case and in many car parks a person can certainly park and visit other local shops.2) Why should Currys provide you parking so you can shop elsewhere just because you're too tight and lazy to pay for parking.
If you or anybody else, get 'a ticket' which are worthless, for staying longer do not pay it seek advice on appealing from pepipoo or MSE. The company issuing them make their money from those who just pay up because they look official. How dcketoes a car park cost money to run? Well, I agree that it is wrong to be so heavy handed, but I don't see the problem in paying for parking at hoapitals. It is handled wrongly.
Maybe the system will change eventually and patients will be able to park for free, on proof of appointment, but I don't see why it should be free all the time it costs something and certainly deters people from taking the proverbial and parking up without any intention of using the services.
In fairness Queen Alex childrens give a free permit to my son and his wife for their daughter who is an in patient with Leukaemia as in fact do Royal Marsden not sure about other illnesses. I think they shouId for any hospital appointment or stay as a patient
Do you believe anything should be paid for?
Not medical life and death wise.
#You've contributee to that and unless you are exceedingly wealthy, you owe a debt to others for your treatment.
My cochlear implant cost the NHS £36k. If I want to repay that, I'll have to either move out of education (or hit management level) or win the lotto and make a donation.
How much are you paying for parking?
Not medical life and death wise.

Railways and hospitals are under severe pressure to plug deficits. re
Have you paid back your life saving cancer treatment yet?

Hospitals are putting in barriers that you pay on leaving to overcome this.
