Always disclose everything. If the offence isn’t relevant to why they’re doing the check (ie not theft or fraud to work in finance or not a sex case to work with kids etc) you’ll be fine. If you don’t mention it and it comes up on the enhanced check they’ll want to know why you’re lying. Know someone that wanted to do a PGCE to become a teacher and didn’t disclose a shoplifting offence. As they’d lied on the form they got kicked off the course. They endured a lot of piss taking about failing DBS check to become a teacher.
