You've got to admit, Gus has made us very hard to beat.
You've also got to admit, we aren't finding it easy to roll teams over either.

Statistics show that we are very much the draw specialists in this league, and even if we win a couple of our last three games, the odds must still be on us playing out draws in the play offs.

I sincerely hope Gus has got Penalty practice as part of his daily training routine at the moment!

Who do you think would be our 5 nominated takers?
???

For me:

Dave, Ulloa, Vicente, Buckley and Orlandi. I know we beat Wrexham, but what is our record like in shoot outs?

Any problem we have with penalty taking is self inflicted. The seasons we rotate penalty takers are the season we miss most. Two seasons at Barnes, Murray, Bennett, wood, dicker all took penalties and we didn't do so well. Last season just Barnes and Harley took them and we did very well. This season we've had Barnes, cms, Vicente, Lopez, ulloa take them and we've struggled.

We had one shoot out in each of the last two seasons and won them both.

Lua Lua would be no where near the list for me, not unless you want the tension of will he smash it over the bar or smash it in the roof of the net, very much like Adam Virgo against Swindon. looked great but could have gone terribley wrong.

At last someone says Hammond. Remember when he played for us at Withdean he always took the penalties and I can't recall too many misses.

Spanish Dave;
Vicente;
Ulloa;
Barnes;
Calderon.

If there's one player on the pitch I'd love to step up and slot home the last vital penalty it would be Calderon. Mr. Professional.

I've also missed out Hammond but I'd back him to score too.
