Anyone else think Pedro might be off?

Don’t think he fits in with Rutter, they are very similar players, could be the club keeping it on the hush to get the replacements in before the deal is confirmed, Arsenal were rumoured to be after him last week?

Could be a case of putting 2&2 together but to me it looks like the ‘succession plan’ unfolding without us even knowing?

If not Pedro then who is leaving? I can’t see how the two fit in a team together really, unless Ferguson is off?

I hope he’s not but given Pedro plays as a number 10, Rutter also plays there I can’t see one of them sitting on the bench every other week and being happy about it.

Why would we spend 40m on a player who plays the same position as our best player? Doesn’t fit the clubs usual recruitment process

Personally I think Pedro is more likely to play up front and Rutter dropping in behind as an attacking midfield player. I hope so anyway!

I am guessing here but I think given the way FH has had us pressing, substitutions and plenty of them will be made before 75 mins this season. For that to work well we will need players of a similar quality replacing the subbed ones, hence having two players in every position.

We will have a f***ed team very quickly just like last season if players are expected to press for more than about 60 mins

I think if Pedro was leaving it'd be a big enough transfer that it'd be making huge waves TBH

Maybe that's naive but we're nowhere near as tight-lipped about outgoings as we are with incomings, look at the saga with Caicedo

I think it's more likely a Bissouma/Caicedo situation - planning for the inevitable (if things go well) maybe next summer?

I don't think Pedro will go anywhere. But, if he does, it'll only be for an eye-watering amount. So it's almost a win-win (as long as the goals keep coming).

Mind you, Dwayne said he's shitehouse, so it doesn't matter anyway.
