Pedantic spelling rant of the year

Normally, I let most of the poor grammar and spelling on here wash over me. But one example, apart from the McGee debacle, is really starting to get to me. A quick search shows at least 10 users who make this most basic of spelling mistakes and I'm concerned it is contagious as it is becoming more prevelant. A search shows 93 threads with this word in.

Right, deep breath - here goes. IT IS SPEECH, NOT SPEACH!

To be fair, that is harder to spell. But speech is such an easy to spell and commonly used word.

Sorry but you missed the point - I had a rant on the banner thread about someone wanting McGee out - why Paul Daniels wife etc. I meant to put McGee - hence the McGee debacle.

He's right you know. I've been spelling it wrong for some time so I spell checked in Word and there it is, double 'E'.

Nope - that was one rant, this is another. It makes two rants but I didn't reference them at the same time - hence my usage of the word rant.
