Two issues

New Dell PC. MS XP HOME

Every time switch on I get a dialogue box entitled System 32 which I think is harmless enough as all I do is close it down. I don't know why it appears and it irritates me.

What is it all about and how do I make it go away?

I also get an MSN Messenger box open up. I do not use it but my sons do. How do I get rid of it so that it does not pop open every time I switch on?

Don't know about the system32 thing but with MSN, if you go into the Tools, Options, General menu and deselect the 'open automatically when windows starts' option they this should stop it.

PM, i too get that system 32 message box in the beginning. i just close it. pissed off with msn messenger as my 13 yr old uses it all the time. remove it from your computer using the install/uninstall programs thingywhatsitmyjobbycomputergeekypushbuttondoubleclickysnarlyskrinkit
