pc help

Hi All

Just bought another rlaptop today and have a couple of problems, I am trying to download msn messenger everytime it says it is done, I cannot find the icon on me pc.

Secondly now internet explorer has crashed, when I load it up it loads then it goes away..

Help anyone ?

with reagards to MSN. Are you connected to the internet? If so, type MSN into google, or who ever and log in that way. It should, once you are logged in stay there.

Through the All Programs menu:
1.Click Start.
2.Point to All Programs.
3.Point to Accessories.
4.Point to System Tools.
5.Click System Restore
6.Follow the instructions on the wizard
to return your system to date when working properly

Have you opened the download? It downloads as a zipped file, then you have to run the file to open and install the programme. (usually downloads to the download file)

Also, you might be looking for 'msn' and missing 'windows live messenger' - what it's currently known as.

meant it downloads to the download folder (start menu > name of computer (top right of the menu) opens up a window with a list of files 'documents', 'pictures' etc. one of them is 'downloads' file should be in there.
