PC games (best in the present market)

i wanna get into a new game on the pc.
i've not played anything serious for about a year so i've got no idea whats out there at the moment and whats quality,

oh, i prefer stategy games so what recomendations have you all got

Rise and Fall - Civilizations at war is VERY good.

Oblivion is excellent if you are in to Role Playing Games, I am hooked on it. A top notch RPG with lots of strategy thrown in. You cant beat it, in my view.

The games works best if you have a high spec pc (1gig RAM, 3 Ghz cpu, fast graphics card) but you can get it to run on slower machine by disabling some of the wonderous effects!

Forget that. Just get a PS2 and Guitar Hero. You won't need another game in your adult life.

But also get Cricket Captain 2006 if your intrested in cricket. Only about £15 and with online play, great fun!

Nothing beats Total War... get Rome with Barbarian Invasions and if the period bores you go on the forum and download a MOD... the best two available are Chivary and a remake of the original samurai.


Currently wiping out the Alemanni with the Scythians and then onto Rome. Watch the arrows fly!

Medieval 2 out in November!!!!

GET command and conquer generals.This is fantastic online playing 4v4 .The problem is you find your life disappearing fast though as it is so addictive.The fact that you can probably get this for about a tenner now on ebay (even though it is nearly 3 years old)makes it even better.
