I thought I would use the good knowledge of NSC to answer this one. I am in many ways computer iliterate and have no idea what Pay Pal is but need to use it in order to purchase something. Question; is it safe?

Not a big PayPal user but I've had an account for the last 3/4 years and so has a few other family members and we've never had any problems.

Yes, and it seems to have an inherent insuance in that a dodgy sellers account is blocked until you are repaid.
