I'm slightly surprised this thread hasn't gathered more interest - it was only a few days ago that people were saying that Paxo was one of the most punchable people on television and here is getting thoroughly embarrassed. I'd have thought there'd have been a bit of crowing.

thing I think both forgot is that London is a very expensive place to live in compared with Wales ,living in Carmarthen (the hotbed of Welsh speaking,and people wanting independence from London) wheres the money going to come from, begging bowl to Europe I suppose.
how much of any money the Welsh assembly are getting from London is being used to teach Welsh, better to use this money teaching Spanish or Chinese thats where the trade will be from countries speaking those languages and I very much doubt that those people using those languages will reciprocate by learning Welsh so most trade will be done in English.

having said that there are many things that central government can learn from some of the Assembly policies

I think it understandable if he takes the occasional pasting - they must be fed a lot of the questions. I bet someone get an ear-bashing.

I thought it was interesting how much easier he was on Cameron in the leader interviews than Clegg. I think he mis-judged that one.
