Was in Manchester on Monday night, stayed in a hotel right across from Old Trafford, paid my respects to GB whilst I was there too. Whilst at the ground I was able to admire the building work to the NE and NW corners, really coming on a treat, they are starting to put the concrete formed sections in now. What it brought home to me is the scale of the thing, I believe the new sections will add about 8,000 to the capacity, a bit like adding Withdean to what they already get, give or take.

Should have popped into the ground and asked if we could have Paul permanently, would probably have been shown the door but it would be great to see him back before his loan spell expires. Not sure what it would cost to lure him away from Old Trafford, if he wanted to move south for good, but it would be a good investment I reckon.

Agreed, I think it would be fantasitic if he would sign for us. What an impact he has made. Damn good player elevated to legend status for that goal!!! He did an articile in one of the match programmes a week or so ago, and he was saying how he's loving his spell with us.
