BINFEST'ING
Fans, mostly kids, behaving badly is embarrassing but so are the large numbers of empty seats each game this season.
Oh no he doesn't!!!

Why are you embarrassed by an empty seat?
Did you have a bad experience playing musical chairs as a child?
We're talking about our support, or lack of when people aren't even in the stadium. This is the season of high pre-tendance with the fewest in attendance.
So why are you embarrassed?
People have bought tickets, but for a multitude of reasons, which I would imagine would more than likely include Covid and the apparent lack of compliance to the managements requests for mask wearing to and in the ground.
There will be other reasons too why people haven’t turned up.
I failed to turn up when we thumped QPR 4-0, with that wonder strike from Jiri Skalak, I hope no one was embarrassed for my empty seat - me, I was livid as my car broke down en route to the game!

On a more serious note, there is an article here showing it’s not a new problem and not just The Albion.

Someone who is happy to charge a ticket swap tax, fully support the PPV during Covid Is a man who does not understand the working class culture of genuine football fans who are still to this day the back bone of most clubs up and down the country.
Barbers priority is keeping the toffs happy unfortunately the Tarquins and Hugo’s ain’t gonna be there if it all goes to shit and we do a Sunderland. The old saying don’t alienate all those who supported you on the way up because you sure as hell will need them on the way down does not seem to be in the mans remit.
On another note was there even a 6000 strong ST waiting list or just an excuse to charge everyone on it £25 to be an Albion plus member. Considering we are back to half ST offers 6000 people seem to have evaporated pretty quickly.

I’m sorry my health condition embarrassed you. Sixty years of supporting the Albion, and me now staying away embarrasses you. What a shame.
If the police deem a game to be of high risk, they tend to shift it to an early kick off, or a weekday evening. I am not suggesting that they should have flagged it as high risk, just noting that the Police recognise that the time of kick off can have an affect on the behaviour of the crowd. I am not suggesting the club picks the time, we all know the broadcasters do, but Barber won't criticise them, they pay the big bucks, but the kick off time is a factor, if you were to do a risk assessment, it would come into the equation.
I didn't witness Albion fans fighting amongst themselves, so I couldn't comment, let alone "explain away", I did however see a lot of faces I had never seen before in the seats around me and on the concourse, maybe tourists, maybe city fans, perhaps PB means these people when he talks of people "purporting to support our club", if so, none of them will give a shit about a stadium ban till City play us next season.
Barber’s priority is to make as much money for the club as possible so Tony doesn’t have lose millions every year keeping it running.
Ripping fans off isn’t the best way to go about it. Maybe your morals are different to mine.Barber’s priority is to make as much money for the club as possible so Tony doesn’t have lose millions every year keeping it running.
Hope you are able to return soon, or you are able to pass your ticket on so it is being used.

Best not spunk away on Locadia, Ali-J and Andone then.
So that makes it all right because it sits comfortably with TB in your view? Fact many families don’t have expendable income and many share ST’s or used to before the tax came in.
Hilarious bringing morals into it. I was pointing out that Paul Barber is running the club exactly the way Tony Bloom wants him to.
I put it on the ticket exchange which was used.
I’m not asking for sympathy but simply pointing out that whinging about empty seats is more embarrassing than your embarrassment.
