Pascal Gross is one of those players who people that don’t understand football think is shit.

Anyone that watches football properly knows that he is outrageously good.

His goal yesterday was pure class. Beautiful to watch.

There is an argument to suggest now is the perfect time for Pascal to leave, back to Germany, not stay here.

Very much in the mold of 'always leave with them wanting more'.

I don't think I could handle a couple of months of 'get rid' next season, like we had this.

The Triple Turn does feel like the perfect football goodbye.

I wonder if the rumours about Werder Bremen in January might have been true.

In that case I wonder what will happen if they dont go up. Maybe that is the thing that will decide whether he stays or goes.

“Pascal Gross, we want you to stay” needs to be sang at the last two games of the season.

I’ve been a Gross cheerleader for far too long to accept saying goodbye wanting more!!

Glad MotD picked him out - absolutely superb performance. What a player.

Despite the glorious goals, the noise, the endless attacking football (well up to about 75 mins) and the poor cross that followed it from Cucurella this moment is probably my most memorable from the game.

I thought his round the corner flick to March in the first half that motd picked up on was a highlight for me - outrageous bit of skill - had me off my feet!

Made better by the booing of the Cuc slice from some of the North - comedy Gold :lolol:

Groß has always been top quality, played in the correct system he is a key part of our squad and proved it yet again yesterday. I'd love him to stay for at least another 2 seasons, he's never been quick but his footballing brain is first class. The stats don't lie.

You know I'm the same, but you know how it'll end.

Unbelievably it'll be the few of us derided for defending the player who bought us The Triple Turn.

We're not worthy.

(I'd go cra-cra mentals if he left for Bumley)

The fact that the 'get rid' monkeys don't understand the meaning of schadenfreude makes the whole thing comedy gold for me. Every time I read 'get rid' I raise an eyebrow because I just know he'll be back with an outrageous turn and assist next game, and the get rid monkeys won't even notice, too busy will they be checking their phones. :lolol:

I think he'll go back to Germany but we should try to sing him up for more.

He was fabulous yesterday like all of them. The word I heard was that he wants a 2 year deal whilst the club are only inclined to offer 1 year. If the price was right I'd be inclined to give him two. On his day he can be great but on others he can be anonymous and his Achilles heel of lack of pace is evident. For the right price I think he's a squad asset even if start that many.

Not sure why we wouldn't offer him 2 when we gave Lallana 3

Love Pascal, hope we sign him for another two years, will be gutted if we don’t keep him. Immense player.

Re songs, in the first season I recall hearing one, to tune of Queen’s ‘another one bites the dust’…

Another assist for Groß
Another assist for Groß
hey and he might get two
Another assist for Groß

Never really took off, unfortunately…..

Another one bites the dust are perfect words anyway, especially for each Gross turn. I hope he stays.
