Parking in Huddersfield.

Going to the game tonight and haven't been before.

Does anyone know what the parking (of the no fee kind) is like around the McAlpine Stadium?

There's loads of street parking all around so long as you don't mind a 10 minute walk.

you can park for free pretty much anywhere within a 10 min walk

also last time we played there on a Tuesday night, the pub had strippers

There is a huge pub by the away entrance too, which does cheap food and drink, also had some weird queiing system that didnt clog the bar and worked really well

parking should be ok within smelling distance of the gasworks.

Away entrance? You mean the one next to the cinema by the home entrance? Or are you on about the gas club?

There are numerous car parks that spring up on matchdays, don't rememebr much free parking near the ground, but the Gas Club charges a couple of quid, and you can have a beer in their bar before and afterwards.

I parked at the stadium car park last time I went (Jake's game) and it was no problem. I did get there quite early though and I think it cost £5.
