Park Incident

Dandyman

In London village.
i lived in east london for 5 years and there is a lot of trouble around the green lanes area between the turkish "community" and the kurdish "community", my question is why the f*** have we got a turkish or kurdish "community" in the first place ?they arent part of the commonwealth and the ones in north london are fromthe mainland, not northern cyprus.

I've lived off Green Lanes (N8) for 20 years and I'd say the area has minimal street crime and little overt tension between Turks, Greeks and Kurds.

BTW are on a major windup or genuinely a racist prick?

you should have started screaming, foaming at the mouth, dropped your trousers and bent over and spread your buttocks.. seeing this horrific act, they would undoubtedly panic and run off

There's a video on Youtube showing an attempted 'happyslap' on a girl, which ends with her boyfriend knocking seven bells out of the perps. Not nice to watch but with a sense of justice.

Could only have been better had one of the little sh&ts been Joey barton.

What, like the three million people of Turkish origin in Germany?

Please, by all means perpetrate your casual racism on here (although you may want to pause and consider what exactly 250,000 British pensioners contribute to the Costa Del Sol and the Spanish economy while you're at it), but at least get your facts straight.

We are all humans, with human feelings and emotions, are we not? What, other than a quirk of history, gives you the right to consider yourself superior to any other person or race? But for an accident of birth, you might be Iraqi, or Kosovan yourself.

Sadly I don't think being young and Turkish is a pre-requisite for acting like an anti-social twat.

There are many 'yoofs' from the UK who are only too willing to behave like complete prats to impress their mates, girlfriends or make themselves feel big.

Exactly, and at least fifteen of them are currently loitering around the car park near where I live, doing donuts in their stupid chav cars and giving it the biggun.

Anyone who suggests that immigrant communities are dragging our country down would do well to sit through an episode of ludicrously trivial arguments from the overwhelmingly white losers on the Jeremy Kyle Show.Still feel proud to be British??

Feeling that your responsibilities to your family outweigh your responsibilities to right the wrongs of society as a whole, does not make you a 'pussy'.

Not to my mind, anyway. Why take any unecessary risk?

I had an incident fairly recently where I used to live. We (wife, me and our three young kids) stepped out of our basement flat, up onto the pavement to cross the road and a young bloke on the other side of the road was stood outside the pub opposite. He was shouting, and I do mean SHOUTING, a constant stream of obscenities ( F's, C's, the lot ! ) down his mobile and acting really agitated, his face contorted with hate. He wasn't drunk, just losing the plot with whoever was on the other end of his phone.

Now normally I wouldn't seek confrontation, but this flipped me out because at the time I was holding my kids hands. Instantly I shouted across to him something along the lines of ; " Oi !, mate, keep it down, I've got kids here ". He stopped in his tracks, mid shouting/swearing, and looked straight at me with what I can only describe as pure hatred on his face. He seemed to be working out what to do next. I'm thinking to myself, shit, this is where it all kicks off. Then slowly his face changed as if the penny was starting to drop ( obviously clocked my kids ) and he simply held his hand up and apologised. I said something like " No problem, just don't need that with kids around " and he just put his mobile away and walked back into the pub.

Now if I'd come across this on my own, I would of just walked past and said nothing, though wouldn't of been entirely happy to do so in the overall scheme of things. I've seen a fair few things that I've felt like reacting to but have chosen not to, like most people have I suppose. I don't like confrontation and will always seek to avoid it where possible. I do think of the repercussions and also my family. But in this instance, it was the very presence of my family that made me react without even thinking.

I do think it's sad the way our streets don't always feel safe now. I do wish more people would stand up to anti-social behaviour and thereby 're-claim our streets'. Unfortunately though, it's not always wise to act on every incident you experience.

Exactly !

I think anti-social behaviour in this country has absolutely bugger all to do with race.

I live in north London.

If you want to express racist views on a public forum, I'll call you what ever I like.
