Any more Golds likely? We seem to have gone a bit flat in the last few days, other than Hodgkinson’s magnificent win and the very early cycling Gold.

Katerina Johnson-Thompson is leading in the Heptathlon at present.

22 GB Golds in Tokyo 2020. Can't see us getting anywhere near that this time.

I can't remember so many Golds being snatched from us at the death than this Olympics.

Both divers probably out of medal contention then. Laugher was well placed but has made an absolute mess of his third dive.

Diving is brutal. We went yesterday and a poor American diver on her very first dive hit the board on the way down and thus wrecked her chance of qualifying. Imagine training for four years and making one mistake on your first dive and wrecking your chances. Must be so hard mentally.

There was the Mexican woman this morning who completely messed up, her feet hitting the water first which meant that she scored 0. Devastating.

She complained that she was put off by the crowd as well but there wasn't enough to re-dive. So gutting for her.

13th Gold! G'wan Ellie Aldrige!
And to think there were a few recent arrivals to this thread that said we weren't doing well. ;)

That was brilliant in the Kitefoil, a Brit who got the tactics spot on in the sailing
