Always been done……..can be scaryI don't remember them bashing long balls in the air in hockey before. This seems incredibly dangerous
Meanwhile, I now find myself transfixed to bloody clay pigeon shooting. Bloody Olympics

It’s incredibly tense……Who knew that clay pigeon shooting could be exciting? GB Nathan Hales & China Qi Y tying for first place at the moment.
4 shooters left and eliminated after 5 shots.
I’m holding my breath when Nathan shoots! It’s incredibly tense……
Gold medal and Olympic record.Job done
Unbelievably stupid of the French to choose to do the Triathlon using the Seine when they must have known the risks.
Surely there must be a suitable body of water not too far from Paris that could have been used. They seem more obsessed with marketing central Paris than competitor safety.
Pure luck it happened to a sport no one wants to watch anywayUnforgivably incompetent.
They've been rolling out the pathetic excuses. Apparently it's important to have it in the Seine for the surroundings etc. It seems to be lost on them that not having it at all is something of a detriment to that plan.
Pure luck it happened to a sport no one wants to watch anyway
Biathlon might be even more pointless. Same with heptathlon and pentathlon... competing in who can be the most bang average. You may be confused. It's not that weird thing where people run on skies with a gun, that's biathlon
Now I’m confused. You may be confused. It's not that weird thing where people run on skies with a gun, that's biathlon
I‘ll watch it.Pure luck it happened to a sport no one wants to watch anyway
He didn't run on skis, he skied on skis. Now I’m confused.
I though that was The Spy Who Loved Me
I turned on at 7 when it was supposed to be Olympics live.. instead had 45 mins (or longer - gave up) of news when the Breakfast programme was also on bbc2BBC coverage is stinking things out, a bit like the Seine.
