That explains a lot!IOC sold the global rights to Discovery and every nation essentially gets two feeds from them of stuff, so the BBC (and every other broadcaster basically) is extremely hamstrung in what they can do.
Unbelievably stupid of the French to choose to do the Triathlon using the Seine when they must have known the risks. Surely there must be a suitable body of water not too far from Paris that could have been used. They seem more obsessed with marketing central Paris than competitor safety. It will be a real shame if the Triathlon ends up becoming a Duathlon. But it probably helps our competitors? What are they thinking to do with the marathon swim?
Gotta love NorthstandchatYou will have needed to have performed inside the qualifying time for your chosen sport first.
You can’t just rock up in Paris with your trainers and expect to get a go, sadly.
I blame social mediaWhen did windsurfing become flying about on a hydrofoil on a short, wide board, instead of actually being on the water on a long, thin board?
Do they refer to their passage across the water as "flying?"When did windsurfing become flying about on a hydrofoil on a short, wide board, instead of actually being on the water on a long, thin board?
IMO Orie CLEARLY won 2 out of three rounds.I’ve seen 2 out of the 3 and have been perplexed by both, particularly tonight’s. Thought Orie won all 3 rounds.

Where are you watching the hockey? I caught about 5 mins of it on BBC and now it’s disappeared in favour of BMX!I don't remember them bashing long balls in the air in hockey before. This seems incredibly dangerous
My wife was looking at the list of sports in the Olympics the other day and excitedly said "oooh look there's a sport we would could represent GB at". I said "It's pronounced Rowing!"When did windsurfing become flying about on a hydrofoil on a short, wide board, instead of actually being on the water on a long, thin board?
I was watching on BBC 1 I think but didn't send the post at the timeWhere are you watching the hockey? I caught about 5 mins of it on BBC and now it’s disappeared in favour of BMX!
