What an idiot. Keeps criticizing his players publicly in the press. The second time in a week he's blamed a loss on an individual player.

You play as a team, You win, draw and lose as a team.

"Flint came in tonight as if he was on holiday and this is not acceptable," Di Canio told BBC Wiltshire.
"He has to take the responsibility. We lost because of him."

He continued: "It was like on Sunday when we lost for Wes [Foderingham]. We lost because of a stupid moment.

"He's a good professional but he has to improve."

Flint, who arrived at the County Ground from Alfreton in 2011, was first-choice at centre back at Swindon last season, alongside Alan McCormack.

But he now faces competition from summer arrivals Ward and Troy Archibald-Henville.

Di Canio added: "Flint's a good guy but he's got a big limit. This is why I brought in Darren Ward.

Sounds like honesty to me.

It maybe honesty, but it's the second time he's done it. I certainly wouldn't want him here if he's gonna cause disruption in the dressing room.

Fine line between honesty and bullying. I'm not sure I'd like to be slagged off in public. It won't end well

Don't want you to think I'm stalking you again but if you look 8 threads below this one there already is a Di Canio thread that's been running a few days now that everyone's been posting everything on about Di Canio but if you wanna start another feel free

When I wrote this, there wasn't a thread on the first page of that I could see. Now it's been bounced I've noticed it.

He's basically a fascist :lolol:

To quote the recent Hunger Games film:

"There is only one thing more powerful than fear. Hope."
I - in my relatively worthless opinion - don't think a football team should be run using fear. Kevin Pezzoni recently left Cologne because of abuse from fans, he "felt unable to play any more for the club, being terrified of making a bad pass", etc

The thing is, I listened to his interview about the 'keeper in full and there were a lot of valid points in there but it got a bit lost in the mental rhetoric of his outburst. The 'keeper also apologiesed to all of the Swindon fans and staff publically so that approached worked in this instance...

However, he has now forced out Leon Clarke, Paul Caddis and possibly this Flint chap too in just two years!! He certainly seems to think that public rollockings are the way to motivate players.

And people thought Poyet treated Sparrow and Vincelot harshly...

Starting to dislike Di Canio. Saw him as a bit of a novelty but actually he's just a prat.

"Aw, isn't he fun? No, he's a knob. He'd be an absolute nightmare to work with."

Near everything I've said above goes for Ian "Ollie" Holloway as well.

Every defeat seems to bring about a public shaming. If they find themselves on a losing run, I just don't see how he'd ever turn it around because the confidence in teh dressing room be getting forever shot even further with every game and every outburst.

The wins seem to be down to PDC, but the defeats are the fault of someone around him. That is not going to end well is it.
