Grade A Canadian maple syrup. Or should that be grade eh? (the locals would get it) Blueberries, banana and coconut yogurt. I make mine out of oats and are vegan ('cos milk gives me the shits)

Lovely restaurant in Cobham that does an “American stack”. 6 breakfast pancakes loaded in layers with eggs and bacon and pissing in maple syrup. How I’m not 18 stone with breathing difficulties continues to confound modern medical science.

This year though I am also going to have a savoury one; egg mayonnaise and smoked salmon filling all lined up and ready to go!
