Palookaville is FAST growing on me. GASH dot dash dot com is the only song I have little time for. And the remix of The Joker is a bit poor, but the rest is top stuff.

Do it. It's ace.

I've never heard "Better Living Through Chemistry " but its better than "Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars " and "On the Floor at the Boutique".

For me, "You've Come a Long Way, Baby" is probably his best work, but probably because I'll always associate it with driving down from London in the glorious sunshine with it blaring out, to watch Albion destroy Mansfield 6-0 with my wife in our first league game back in Brighton. And then enjoying resulting beers after the match in the Nelson.
:clap2:

The album is a really good "comeback" for our Norm, worth a tenner of anyones money.

Or £8.97 at Tescos or Asda

Go out and get it NOW. Catalogue number is either BRASSIC02 or SKINTCD02 depending on how new the shops stock is - BRASSIC02 is the original batch.

And go somewhere very very quiet with a very loud soundsystem. Put in the CD. Play it entirely through, but pay particular attention to the first track as its the best, probably his best track ever, off any album

Track 6 on Palookaville is him emotionally cracking up over Zoe leaving him (albeit temporarily). Track 1 on Better Living Through Chemistry is from when Lindy Layton broke up with him. And instead of writing anything with vocals he went and did a synth masterpeice.
