There is normally one of the bad teams who put a run together and scrapes out (remember us last season - couldn't beat an eggg but eventually put a run together). So I wouldn't count on Palace staying up just yet.

Will be a good season with Palace and those poor old souls with their long suffering fans along the South Coast going down as well.

Should be interesting the game against Wednesday as the last game of the season. It could all rest on that.

playing around with the BBC Predictor thingy and being harsh on Watford, Sheffield W, Scunny and Plymouth and generous to Palace....I reckon it will come down to the last game and they will need to win to stay up. Relistically they won't get that close to staying up :lolol:

The last time we went to the final game we drew with Charlton & got relegated along with Norwich & Southampton. T'was a bad day.

No it wasn't. It was better than Christmas.

Anyhoo, LOVE this quote on that Palace messageboard:

"Four games is ample time for any manager to turn around a team that is threadbare and on a poor run of form so yes, he should be sacked immediately and his head put on a spike in Holmesdale Road as a warning to his successors."

FOUR games ?!
:lolol:

Yes, I believe the person who posted that was deadly serious.

Yes we are doomed,we are at that stage where I cant see where the next point is coming from,no pace no guile and a distinct lack of skill.
After the sending off last night for the first time I witnessed the sight of a team playing a 4-5-0 formation !

On the up side looking forward to playing in a southern dominated division and catching up with some old "friends" from a few years ago.

sadly i think they have enough decent players to stay up :(

reminds me of when we won division 3 and palace AND portsmouth BOTH stayed up on the last day of the season, and huddersfield- HUDDERSFIELD went down

put a right DOWNER on my day that did

Given the whingeing on that forum after a few bad results it's not beyond the realms of possibilty. Good to see that there are "ardent" Palace fans already giving up on going to games, doesn't bode well as you slide down the leagues does it ?

Until recently Ihad thought palace would stay up but having lost Warnock & his them against us mentality they do seem to be falling apart.Iwas speaking to a palace fan who seemed certain that the players are no longer up for it & have taken to bickering amongst themselves. It wouldnt be a bad thing if they go down this year, we could dish out the spanking we owe them on our way to promotion & wont have to get our nice new stadium dirty.

Paul Hart is well aware that if we don't win our next game, his head will be put on a spike on the Holmesdale Road. This is NOT irony, but I am sure you lot would have spotted it if it were.

Considering the amount of urination taken out of us over the last few years you have to accept that you'd better get rain coats. Also, I gather that there will be caravans at Selhurst soon, they'll be for the contractors though.

Agree with Vulture. I think palace will survive, they may have a slightly tougher run in but P'boro, Scunny and Plymouth are craphouse.
