Palace very unlucky. Questionable penalty and questionable red card. They deserved something out of the game.

I think they are as they live in or close to Brighton.
I think Pearce bigs us up as much as he can without seeming bias to Brighton when he commentated.

Looking forward to Roy blowing a gasket shortly.

I KNOW ALL THAT.

But on 5Live between 7 and 8 tonight, and on so many previous occasions, he obsesses with:

"Selhurst, a proper ground.
Zaha.
Hodgson.
The Ultras.
Hennessey and the rest.
Townsend
They always beat Liverpool".

He really is a biased bore.

I think it's just his style, he has always been an excitable slightly over the top commentator, I don't mind him on the radio.
He does go on about Brighton too, the history, the fans, great stadium etc.

The experts say a definite pen and that it was awful non-defending by Sakho.

Becker, VVD and Gomez dealt with the aireal threat of a team of giants brilliantly.

Palace couldn't score, so the best team won.

To be fair Palace did manage to create a few chances against a very good Liverpool team. Hopefully CH will get our lads working on what was successful for Palace tonight.

JP has just listed palace getting beaten by City, Utd, 'Pool & Arsenal last season and then said:-

'See it's always difficult for the big clubs to come here'. :lolol:

Muscle, height, home advantage, diving, long balls with snow on them.

If we can replicate much of that.
