But on 5Live between 7 and 8 tonight, and on so many previous occasions, he obsesses with:

"Selhurst, a proper ground.
Zaha.
Hodgson.
The Ultras.
Hennessey and the rest.
Townsend
They always beat Liverpool".

He really is a biased bore.

I think it's just his style, he has always been an excitable slightly over the top commentator, I don't mind him on the radio.
He does go on about Brighton too, the history, the fans, great stadium etc.

The experts say a definite pen and that it was awful non-defending by Sakho.

Becker, VVD and Gomez dealt with the aireal threat of a team of giants brilliantly.

Palace couldn't score, so the best team won.

Palace are a natural second team for many Londoners anyway. Probably one reason more than 10000 of them only show up when they are in the top league. Plastics.
