I don't blame them, I'd do anything to avoid Palace. The tension would be trebled, it would mean so much more and it will be super feisty. I can ansolutely handle losing in the play offs in anyway imaginable (stuffed out of sight, penalties etc) but the thought of losing to them is unbearable so I'd rather just avoid it.

That would be sweet but there would also some nice karma about Bolton knocking Palace out, although I'm not sure if the permutations will allow for that.

Almost worth foregoing the satisfaction of us dumping Palace out of the play-offs just to see the implosion on BBS if Freedman denies Palace. Parish would get flamed all summer long.

Only if they meet in the final. We will be 4th/5th, Bolton will be 5th or worse, so Bolton can only play us or Watford/Hull in the semis. Palace could be 4th, 5th, or 6th, but if they're 4th/5th, it'll be against us (Bolton can't finish above us).

of course we want palace - its what football is all about - the losses would be great, but the prize - just think of the prize.....knocking out palace in the play offs to goto the premiership? it tastes pretty special and would do for decades........man up people.
