The thing about youth is you need the right manager to bring them through. Hughton couldn’t or wouldn’t. Potter had a track record at Swansea and has continued that here. Does Viera have any pedigree in bringing through young talent, because if he doesn’t he is going to have to learn bloody fast.

2 or 3 seasons , managing Man City u23s, I know it’s only u23s but one would hope he can spot young talent.

I think before all of us both Brighton & Palace fans can judge next season we should wait until the squads are completed.

That's the thing, we are not up shit creek. 19 first teamers ready to go, 4-5 more on the way, 3 to come back from injury.

In fairness it's a bit odd being on a rival's forum in the first place.
I think some of the "away" fans who post on here, do so, because it's a good forum.
Then there are the rivals looking to trigger us with various windups.
Then there are the out and out trolls.

I'm sure there are a few Brighton fans who fall into the last two categories on BBS.

I come on here mainly for music or Sussex chat…posting late on here tonight after spending an evening in Hove ( actually) because I spend a lot of time watching gigs in and around Brighton, go to Gastonwick when it’s on and it’s an ok city.

4-5 on the way is conjecture

Wait and see

Even if they happen the question is are they going to be first team quality or just more overpaid clowns

+ Olise back by September and Eze/Ferguson back by Jan.

Eze has a ruptured achilles I believe.
It's a bad injury and there is no real way of knowing when he will be back.

I wouldn't expect too much from him next season.
It would be a mistake to rush him back.

Overpaid clowns that have kept us in this league for NINE seasons

Overpaid nonetheless

This is interesting.

This palace fan has an ounce of realism about them.
