He needs to find the money to underpin his ring fenced follyNot sure how much truth there is in this, but surely he can just buy himself out of his contract?
$20m for a two year contract is very generous. Highly unlikely Glasner is on anywhere near that.
I'm calling bullshit on the $100m request, although Beaky is enough of a deluded twunt to try it on.
.... and we've got Chelsea and Utd, both of whom are playing for European places (as are we ... just)From hoping they might get relegated to ending up above us!! Scary.......
Nope. 8th isn't getting Europe this year. We're 9 points from the European places with 2 games left..... and we've got Chelsea and Utd, both of whom are playing for European places (as are we ... just)
Especially knowing that after seeing some of the photos doing the rounds of Villa players and manager on the piss, Palace will win their last game. Can we change the thread title to Brighton Fans Biggest Fear until we get over the line this season?
That does flatter you though.Current form, last 10 is quite telling.
As with any form snapshot - it isn't telling at all.Current form, last 10 is quite telling.
Have just seen those photos and never want to see Martinez in anything but kit again.Especially knowing that after seeing some of the photos doing the rounds of Villa players and manager on the piss, they will win their last game.
It will put a real dampener on the season.
Up to us to do the business against United.Especially knowing that after seeing some of the photos doing the rounds of Villa players and manager on the piss, they will win their last game.

They can't force him to come to work, but they can prevent him from working elsewhere until his contract has expired. This is more or less what we did with Ashworth until Newcastle paid the compo. The downside being that the employer still has to keep paying a salary during gardening leave.I very much doubt Palace could stop Glasner leaving - they might be able to enforce some sort of reasonable notice period in the UK, but if Glasner wants to return to Germany I’m not sure there’s much they could do to stop him. Sure, there would be compensation - but it would need to be a “reasonable” sum (not $100m, unless that’s in his contract). The key issue is whether Glasner wants to go.
Well palace have injuries as well. And were struggling with form as well. That does flatter you though.
The five wins on paper look excellent but you were incredibly fortunate to meet those teams at a time when they were struggling with form, injuries, Europe.
I doubt he does, as Bayern are a basket case right now.I very much doubt Palace could stop Glasner leaving - they might be able to enforce some sort of reasonable notice period in the UK, but if Glasner wants to return to Germany I’m not sure there’s much they could do to stop him. HA!Well palace have injuries as well. And were struggling with form as well.
1st choice keeper. Johnson
1st choice centre back. Guehi
Both 1st choice midfielders, Lerma and Doucoure
Obviously losing Deocoure ment we signed Wharton who has turned out a proper star
Sorry what is that in relation to?I think it depends on the person you are, building something from scratch by given what you have and making it a success must give you more satisfaction than being given a failing team and spending millions on it…maybe ?
Alternatively maybe you need to get some perspective.Well palace have injuries as well. And were struggling with form as well.

Think the Bayern interest has come a bit too late but never say never. Compensation will be a turn off for Bayern but I’ve never understood the logic that a player can be signed for £30m and waste away on the bench yet a manager is deemed expensive if the compensation is over £10m. The Potter move changed that logic a bit, but if Glasner is as good as he appears, and as good as Bayern rate him, then anything around £30m would be good business. Especially if they’re signing a coach, man manager and rebranding a club philosophy all at the same time.Sorry what is that in relation to?
