This sort of approach has happened in Europe for YEARS.

Also, considering we had a left back play the majority of the season who earned £80,000 a week more than we paid him, any criticism of the loan system is a bit hypercritical.

Oh bless them, they've only been promoted less than a day and already are looking rather desperate. I think Zaha himself will likely want to move on and fight for a place on the bench at Man Utd rather than extend his spell at Palace even longer. Palace will need another 10 Zahas in all fairness to simply survive and even if he stays his tendency to go down so easily will be found out by premier league officials. Palaces tinpot mentality will be funny to watch next season, fair play to them for getting there but every cloud has a silver lining etc.
