You can be as cute as you want, the fact is you said we would have no chance of signing Ince which is rather funny.
Yeah, you had no chance of signing him on a permanent deal.

He'll still be a Palace player until May, that could be the difference between relegation and another 60 million in the coffers.
Yeah I agree, I think he's a good player with excellent potential, and a good choice to help. It's his potential that made me confident he wouldn't sign for you on a permanent deal, as I'm sure he'll be hoping to play for a bigger club.

I think they have done alright this window but this really highlights what a terrible job Wurzel did in the summer.

He obviously realised what a poor squad he had without the two players that helped them scrape into the play offs (no win in nine was it, leading into the last game?) but his "rabbit in the headlights" approach was the final nail in his coffin.

Pulis has done well and much as it pains me to say it, strip away the crap (which they still have to pay of course :) ) there is a decent squad in there

Good deal all round IMO, if he's as good as everyone predicts, he'll have a wealth of options in the summer and given his small put excellent pedigree, he should have 15 games to prove how good he is.

That said, I'm personally just as happy that we signed Ledley.

I must say palace seem to have done well. I will however respectfully point out to the palace posters that most were gloating on here the last window with scatter gun Hollaway in charge & on reflection a lot of the business was truly shocking & I'd guess over priced. And I'm putting any bias to a side there - I'm sure the more level headed palace posters would agree. Does seem to me palace have really had a go and spent a lot of that money they got. Time will tell if it was the correct thing to do...

More like bigger signing on fee.
No, bigger clubs.
Why do you think he's so intent on running down his contract then signing for a foreign club?
What on earth are you talking about? I never said a word about running down his contract, or about signing for a foreign club. I think he's a good player, and will want to do better than Palace. Is that difficult for you to accept?

Yep, and assuming he's not already agreed a deal with another club, I assume he'll be trying to prove himself.

Think you could be right dont think its the the money we spent its the money we are wasting on wages on players that couldnt make it in the mid sussex league, this was due to Worzel and Parish panicking just hope we can offload them somehow in the near future.

I hate palace as much as the next man but anyone trying to take the piss when they are in the PL at our expense, look likely to stay up and made signings we would have, is an idiot. Yes we have a better stadium and bigger crowds but for now that's it, leave them yo it until we can actually take the piss again.....&@nts

Not at all, I'm a realist, and if Tom really is that good, he won't stay at Palace. We are simply a shop window in the Prem for him.

However Ince Senior seems fixated on getting the largest possible signing on fee for his lad, which as you are no doubt aware will be most likely if he exploits the loophole of being out of contract with Blackpool then signing for a foreign club. Hello Monaco and loads of lovely moolah?

Let me first say I think this has been a really good window for Palace and must give them a real chance of survival.
The Ince situation really does interest me, as I understood he has already done the deal with Monaco in the summer. (as is his right with 6 months left on his contract)
We will never know his terms for signing for Palace for 15 games, but I do suspect he would have received both a signing on fee plus a large increase in wages.
If I was a Palace fan I would be concerned about how much or how little effort he will put in with his Monaco deal ( or any other big club) maybe in jeopardy if he were to get seriously injured, in these 15 games. I think his early performances for Palace will soon tell if he is using the club or not.
