For those that are interested apparently he's been playing terribly for them and been subbed off in their last two games at half time

AFC Bournemouth Forum - Team for Tuesday?

Have to say I'm very surprised as I thought he'd be very good for that league and looked OK for us when Bridge wasn't fit. Definitely need to sign at least one LB at the end of the season even in the unlikely event that Bridge does stay unless Maksimenko impress for the development squad.

Put a fast winger against him and he struggles

Suited our style but only ever L1 standard.

We could pay him bench money to sit there but everyone has been saying LB needed an upgrade. Bridge is insanely good business but unless he signs 'for real' we're back to square one next season

quite shocked at that. thought he would be decent at league one level. being subbed off at half time 2 games in a row will do nothing for his confidence... how long is the loan?

Saw the FL show on Sunday morning and He was at fault for the goal they conceded in saturdays home defeat. A real shame as I nthought he looked good for us when we romped to the League One title!

not in the squad even tonight so not his fault they got stuffed at home again

Dickenson subbed off at half time for Wombledon in his second game after playing 70 minutes before being subbed in his first game for them. Hope he wasnt injured.

I think the match fitness is a major issue. We know Painter is class at League 1 level - when was the last time he played in a run of first team games? Ages ago, I bet.

November 2012, he played against Huddersfield, Bolton & Bristol for us, which were 2 wins & a draw. He coped quite well I thought.

I seem to remember reading that he did very well in those games, not sure if any of those teams had wingers with real pace though, that is his weakness imo. Very solid otherwise and did really well for us in League One and the only reason he's probably not good enough for a decent Championship side is his lack of pace.

Hope he does well for Bournemouth.
