Seems to be a lot of confusion for tomorrows game.
Is there any P & R and if so how do you pay for it?
On Ask the club it's suggested the only P & R is at the Race Course.
Tried to find out on the official club site but cannot see anything.

So, anyone here know?

I phoned the ticket office, who checked.

No special buses at all. Match tickets are however valid on the train. I know plenty of people are moaning about catering, but transport is now top of my gripe list by a country mile. Piss poor communication, scant and inconsistent information and no visible signs of how they intend to cope with the increased capacity. Time to start writing, I think.

Erm, no free travel on the train - I think?

Quote from the OS:

"Please note, the subsidised travel system will not be in operation for this game, so supporters will have to pay for a ticket before traveling on buses and trains to and from the Amex"

it gets clearer than mud all the time.

Interesting that the bus company still seem to think we have seperate travel vouchers...

"The Albion sell travel vouchers with their season tickets. You just show your travel voucher to each driver on your way to the Stadium."

Is there no communication between the club and the bus/rail companies at all?

Surely that should mean tickets are valid on the usual buses from town then?

Sorry no idea and no point in trying to make any sense of it. Me and my two boys have annual train tickets that cover us to Brighton. I will just argue the toss over Falmer if necessary. It makes yo wonder what exactly the club transport manager does to earn a salary!

My oversized golden eagle will be dropping me in to the stadium at 18:44, then swooping in at 21:57 to collect me, saves all the hassle of trains and buses.

NO free travel today and NO P&R - absolutely no idea about the buses.

Trains will run the usual overcrowded weekday evening matchday service, with a couple of additionals afterwards. Bit of a cock-up to have 8,000 people coming with no P&R, seems the club just want people to pay to use the car-parks.

I have just sent an e-mail of complaint to the club about this, using both my own experience and the ones expressed by people on this thread and the other on the subject.
