Anyone see the documentary on Boris's big erection?

I quite like going up tall things but much as I like the wacky design I was baulking at paying £15 a head to take the family up when we go to see the swimming next month.

Watching the documentary I decided "sod it, maybe we should" only to find that there's hardly any days, let alone sessions, that tickets are still available for!

What I don't understand is why they need to charge £15 a pop when Mittal chucked in most of the cost and built the thing for them. Boris is expecting a million a year to visit it going forward so it will probably become a cash-cow. Why not make it affordable??

You've already answered it - "there's hardly any days, let alone sessions, that tickets are still available for"

Got my tickets. Kaupar was pissed off with the charge but then it cost 27 million quid, I'm sure he took his fee as well.

His curve at the festival was excellent the other year up by the chaitri. I believe he has them installed in the orbit.

Looking forward to it.

I've been meaning to see if there are any tickets left that coincide with the days I'm at Olympics Park but looks like there won't be.
On the plus side my Olympic tickets were delivered yesterday
