Drove from Eastbourne. Parked, thought there were fewer cars than normal, got down the road to be told it was off by a steward. i feel very sorry for the northampton fans.

Had a nice train journey down to Gatwick and back from Victoria.

Something I've been planning on doing in a while and only £20 quid.

Only came down from Reading...so not much time or money wasted there !!!
On the subject of ' out of county ' fans, I reckon we have our fair share and home gates are probably made up of something like 10-15% from outside Sussex.

Went down to the Brewery Tap anyways. Spent a full forty minutes as the sole customer (5 mins discussing Celeb BB with the barmaid, 35 minutes reading - and memorising - The Sun). Thank Christ when Gong and Barbie turned up.

Don't. There was only a token coach which I passed on the M25&M23 on the way down, and that was only half full. 28 fans tops, and they all had a trip to the seaside.

I made it to the Q8 roundabout, did a lap and went straight back home.

Nearly.

We left home just before 1pm to pick up my boy's mate and then my mum, having checked teletext & radio to see game still on. Too busy having a good old natter with my mum on the journey over rather than listening to radio. Ceased chitter chatter as usual at 2 pm for SCR and team news, only to discover game off. Did a Uey at Hollingbury roundabout and headed home.

Did pick up some lovely glazed pots for the garden nice and cheap at that pot place by Wilmington on the way home though. Boys had some serious pokemon card trading going on in the car too. All in all, a very pleasant day out for all, and another evening game to look forward to too :)
