I LOVE beetroot.

It's a must for hamburgers over here.

Another fave is the Apple Cucumber.

Just what I was going to say.

I'll throw in the sweet potato. Much better than the normal variety.

I was going to put Sweet Potato first but I think it does get recognised nowadays, and correctly so. It's lovely.

Sweet potato and butternut are great shouts.

Beetroot, on the other hand, is not. I once heard it described as 'Satan's bloodclot', which I think rather sums up its appeal (or lack of).
