I must say that I would love to know who he is!

I very much doubt that he is a regular fan! (or for that matter a fan at all!)

Has anyone thought it might be someone who just got a ticket they now cant use i.e. had people in the ques at both places to hedge bets and now has a surplus ticket? if they got a £46 one then I think the nearest reserve to this on ebay would be £50.

Just a thought.

I don't care, Richie. Selling a ticket on ebay is against their rules.

It's also contrary to the conditions under which the ticket was originally sold and invalidates the ticket.

The purported seller of the first pair has apparently identified himself (which should make it easy to identify the tickets involved). The Club is aware of it. I am sure whoever turns up at Cardiff to claim the seats will be subject to some interesting questioning.

Selling it on E Bay is out of order but I was just suggesting it might not necessarily be an unscrupulous tout. Still, get the club on to him.

E-bay's an auction site, so they're sell it there with that pupose in mind. If they wanted rid of it at face value they wouldn't use an auction site.

You don't have to auction it, you can sell it at a set amount.

Either way, they are scum.

Putting it up for sale at face value on NSC is one thing, but putting it up for auction for anyone to get hold of could be depriving an Albion fan of a once (maybe) in a lifetime occasion.

Absolutely NSC provides a service for face value sales

But the reserve on the first ticket was 95 fecking quid! Which hardly sounds like an "accidental" over-purchase does it? And even allowing for the discovery of a sudden and totally unexpected surplus of tickets, who - other than touting scum - would think to get it on ebay so quickly and so obviously with the intent of getting as much money as possible for it?

I admire Lord B's strength of conviction on the issue of entry to the ground.

I would be astonished if the tickets are checked carefully as we enter the ground.

They were put through the turnstyle scanners at an FA Cup I went to, but a year later at the Worthless the turnstiles at Gate 7 were collecting by hand with the barriers permanently open...

I think this ebay advertiser is being dealt with by NSC warriors - who's seriously going to bid £500 on a ticket thats not (yet) sold out?

If that :tosser: wasn't out to make a profit then he would have used the "By It Now" option and set the price to the face value of the ticket. The fact that he set a higher than face value reserve suggests that he wants to make a profit from it.

Has no one spotted that this ticket is collection only? That's a bit stupid for a tout!

Let's put a bid in for £1000 and then pay him/her a visit!

ps It's actually two ticket that are being sold and the starting bid was face value to be fair. (although they are still scum!)

The starting bid was face value but Reserve Not Met. The Reserve was £120 which was proved when someone putting £500 bid got the price up to £120.

I think that before we try and get these taken off, it is worth 2 NSC users bidding high. This would stop anyone trying to buy them getting in a legit bid which the tout could accept after refusing the fake ones. Bid high then try and get it taken off.
