I see NO reason we can't be looking at 9, 10 or even 12 points from these 4, and if that was the case...we really would be starting to mean business.

Gus is a f**king legend for what he's doing with our club.

Hoping for 12, I'd take 7/8 though - we never seem to do well at Tranmere

Its been great start to season but we now have to start beating all four of these teams if we want to be going up this season, as we let slip vs Rochdale and i would be disappointed if we lose any of these games i would ideally like 12 but i would be very happy with 10 out of 12.
But this is the big ones to me, not the tough away games vs Carlisle and Plymouth where you would maybe accept a slip up but these are very winable games.
Come on Seagulls, also personally i think Anker seems to be putting the defence under more pressure by his lack of confidence in gaining the ball himself from corners or long throws, i know this is Brez strength, id personally like to see Brez back in goal i think brings me more confidence.

Just because kept a clean sheet doesnt mean he has played well, of what i heard on radio, he played well vs Carlisle and made a couple of terrific saves but tonight seemed unwilling to come out and take command of his area and take the pressure off Elphick and El Abd, i think Anker is a good keeper but i just personally feel Brez is less prone to make errors and is a better keeper, just my opinion.

No reason other than the 2-0-2-0 sequence.

Though, like I highlighted in another thread, despite this sequence, in the league we have yet to draw a blank at home.

Is it just my bad memory, or do we not have a particularly good record against Oldham?

Let's not get too carried away. Oldham have only lost one game. We never win at Oldham. I'm not saying we won't do well but we need to keep our feet on the ground.

I'd be more than happy with 8 points. (no losses)

I dont know what Casper has to do to convince some people. You dont get 3 clean sheets in a row by luck you get it beacuse your on form and when a keeper is on form you stick with them.

Over the years I have lost count of the amount of times that the team have gone away & done great, got everyone excited, draw a decent crowd to see what's happening with these great results, & then........well you know.

I hope it's different this time. 3 points against Oldham will have me starting to believe.
