a good point, well made

Ok the 2nd goal was due to the long ball. But we played better without it. If we have Henderson and Hart out wide in a attacking role, we may have a faster and more skillfull (?) game.

Not sure about henderson wide birdy. I am not that impressed by him.. I though 2nd half was good beacuse we mixed it up a bit and we played a lot of out longer balls out wide.

In an ideal world I would love to see us playing with two out and out wingers but we havent got the player to do that at the moment.

not so much long ball . . .but high balls . . .a waste of time when you've got a Kylie sized striker, keep it down and pass it around, as we did at times, and we where running rings round some of their towering donkeys.

Overall I don't think we can worry about the long ball tactics. QPR's back line is one of strongest (in the air) in the league, and if we can create chances against them, I can't imagine other teams dealing with it quite as well. Especially with someone as good as knight capitalising on the slightest of mistakes.

Note it won't work without a workhorse like Leon Knight (Kevin Phillips) and a big lump like Henderson (Nyall Quinn)......hmmn.

Too right, Coppell hit the Brazil button in the 2nd half, even Roberts was getting the trix out

At the time I thought it was long ball. Having watched the tape.. we play a lot of good on the floor passing in neat small triangles and then spreading it wide.

Our passing is a lot better than it used to be.

I think we do have a danger sometimes of overplaying the ball, especially in defence.

Had my heart in my mouth a couple of times, but glorious football. Some of the passing in the second half was quality. First half was crap and like BB said we changed tactics and played much better.

Aside from the obvious positives it has to be said that Henderson was awful and IMHO Watson was poor and Nathan Jones (I haven't said a bad thing about him especially after THAT goal at Forest last year) I thought at times looked poor.

Henderson appeared to be getting frustrated in the second half, which was what led to his booking.

I was quite impressed with Henderson. It was his header that led to the second goal and he does a lot of work in making space for Knight. His weakness is that he lacks space but he seems quick of thought. I'm not sure why he's being described as a lumbering oaf.

I wasn't that impressed with Henderson last night but these things take time and he still contributed to a goal. To be fair to him I think Henderson was the one that QPR defenders preferred to pick-up and didn't want the responsibility of shadowing Knight who was scaring the pants off them.

I thought our tactics were good and we mixed it up, stretching their defence all over the place. Coppell has made his mark on this side.

The thing about Henderson is that he is a handful and will occupy defenders, allowing space for Knight. The jury is still out but I think in time Henderson will come good.
