'We're not famous anymore' has to be one of the most cringeworthy songs invented. Plenty of their fans boast about creating an attendance record at the various grounds they visit. Of course they will, if they have enough mindless cretins that follow the team and fill the home and away sections. I don't love seeing Leeds losing becuase they are a 'big club', I love seeing Leeds lose as they cheated the bent system and epitomise much that is wrong with the modern game.

Surely as that Leeds United were dissolved in 2007 owing millions to creditors the entire question is irrelevant?

Good point, very well made. I shall happily give the old Leeds Utd the European title, if they accept that they should not be in the football league and accept demotion to the NPower Counties Third Division.

Agree with P Dazzzzzo, anyone who says LUFC aren't a big club is deluded. Wigan could win the European Cup and Premiership for the next ten years straight and would never be considered a big club by me - all about crowds see. Leeds would command 40k+ if back in the Premiership and there ain't many clubs in Blighty that can make that claim. Big for me is about fanbase, nothing else.

Is this the same Leeds United who originally claimed that when Simon Grayson joined them, having 'resigned' as Blackpool's manager the previous day, that Blackpool had no grounds for compensation.........and who yesterday reached an undisclosed out of court settlement with Blackpool for poaching their manager?

Don't give a shit about whether they are 'big' or not. Crooked and manipulative they have always been and continue to be so.
