Our best back four?

Lets say we signed Richards permanently in January, got Lynch back and Hinshelwood fully fit, who would your back four be ( Not going to include Cook, Pearson, etc)

Right Backs - Whing, Virgo, El-Abd

Centre Backs - Virgo, Elphick, Lynch, Hinshelwood, El-Abd, Hawkins

Left Backs - Richards, Lynch

I would say:

Lynch Hinshelwood Elphick Virgo

Although having said that I do like Virgo and Lynch both in the middle and don't think Richards or Whing are bad players.

I think one thing it will show is that we don't need Colin Hawkins...

Oh, and before anyone goes on about Lynch not being a left back because he had a poor 45minutes against Mansfield can you please remember he had the FLU and was being covered by GUY BUTTERS in what was probably the whole team's worst performance of the season.

Got to be Virgo Lynch Elphick Richards. Whing is way too unfit to be starting. Untill his fitness improves i would not pick him!

I really like El-Abd for his 110% attitude, but I tend to think of him more as a midfielder nowadays.

I would have said Lynch but even if he comes back his heart isn't in playing for the Albion anymore. Interesting that not a single person, other than Micky Adams, thinks Kerry Mayo is worth even listing as a potential LB.
