I think you were misled by that crackling on the line when there was at hrow-in by the Arkells Stand in the first half. The said crackle as you know would have counted for 3 spectators and a spaniel so lower your guesstimate to 652.

Tch. I always seem to overestimate our away attendences when listening on the radio.
Perhaps I should turn it down a smidgeon.

Have you allowed for the ones who arrived after the first goal? (not me) Or indeed, have you allowed for those of us who were in the bog when Jake scored? All could be critical factors.

I don't make any snap judgements at any particular point of the game Mr Superhil. I just try to get a feel for it over the course of an hour or so before beginning to think of numbers. Then I aim to deliver my verdict around ten minutes from time, although Norman Gall can sometimes hinder this. His inane waffling on Saturday certainly didn't help, and was probably a factor in my misguided crowd forcast.
