Other than Brighton.....

....who have you been to watch the most.

I have been to Oxford United quite a few times, whilst I was up at Brookes.

The Manor was a great old ground, and the Kassam stadium will we alright once they finish the ground and put another stand in. The 6 ft high fence looks a little silly. Not to mention the amount of time wasted collecting balls.

I am pleased to see that Kassam has sold up and they have replaced Patterson with Jim Smith, who took them up to the top flight. A great little team, who I have a lot of respect for.

Huddersfield Town, my home town team - who it looks as though will pass us as we plummet to division 3 and they ascend to division 2

Everton. Seen them twice as my mate in Liverpool is a season ticket holder and if I'm in that neck of the woods I go to the game with him.

I seem to remember at one point it was half finished and rusting away due to a dispute with the builders/finance. What will be the final capacity? 15k?

I hate to say it but its Palace. About 10 years ago a mate of mine and his dad were season ticket holders and when his dad couldnt make it I'd use his ticket.
The agreement was reciprical and I'd always wear my BHA shirt to their place with my coat well zipped up and he'd do the same at the Goldstone. We'd always spend a good twenty minutes at each match trying to expose each other.(That sounds a bit gay doesn't it ?)
It came to an abrupt end when I was exposed in the Arthur Waite stand and was asked politley by the people around us not to come back. One of these people was Kevin Day (comedian, tv bloke).
So there you go.
I'm very very sorry and hope I will be forgiven.

Currently 12,500, and I think they can make the final stand as big as they want, so around 15,000 sounds about right.

Herd ran out of money, which meant that the Taylor Woodrow and the building team were not paid, so they stopped. Kassam despite being a bit of an arse, came in to rescue the scheme and they built it.

He made enough money out of the old Manor and put the club on the market for £1 last year. Finally sold and hopefully they can move on.

Went to Swindon V QPR once sat with the QPR fans thinking there would be more atmosphere in the away end.:nono:

One guy standing up trying to get the rest to sing and they had sold out there allocation!!

Pathetic.

I also went on School trips to watch Southampton and Wimbledon.

Our teacher was an ex stoke pro so he wasn't that fussed about us going to see Brighton. Shocking considering we were based near Brighton & Hove. I don't think the atmosphere helped much, being the mid 90s.

I have to say that the people who sat right next to us clocked on pretty quick and were always very symathetic about all the shit that was going on with us at the time. Lots of jokes about trying to cure me etc.
And there was a very pretty brunette(lady !) who sat in front of me.

Do you know her ?

I would have liked to have cross pollenated with her.

been to see carlisle a fair few times, 3 times against us and about twice against someone else. also, my dad was brought up near there.

the first one was the penultimate season at the goldstone when zeke rowe scored and we won 1-0.
the second one was the last season at the goldstone when baird scored but we lost 3-1. i think rod thomas and maybe even warren aspinnal scored for them.
the third one was in the div 3 championship season, when we drew 0-0 at their place.
