Aztec sun on my right shoulder. Meaningless, ugly and pointless but enough about Falmer...

Never understood the logic behind tattoos. Some look good and some don't, but its like wearing the same shirt for the rest of your life, don't you ever get bored of them?

Interesting point about the football tattoos looking tacky Safeway.

My reasoning behind getting the club crest on the side of one thigh and the England Three Lions on the other thigh was becuase I will never get bored of them. My biggest fear would be getting fed up with a tattoo - a bit like my missus is sick of her tiny one on her hip.

Agreed they are a bit pikey - but I like the fact that I have the club inked into my skin.
Also in a discreet place, so only people I want to see them actually get a peek.

I always suspect the Chinese symbol ones might just say something like Chinese Chicken Twice!

Or is it because they make good wank fodder ???

we were going to get a seagull tattoo on our arms but then remembered the guy who got a big picture of andy cole in his newcastle kit tattooed on his thigh the week before he got transferred to Man Utd so we didnt bother, we thought they would probably change the seagull just after we got it done!

Ditto my step daughter, step son has earings and is getting his tongue done today. Can't see the attraction of that latter at all but it seems that virtually all the kids round here have had it done.

Still, it annoys the help out of their father so it's fine by me.

errrrr none for me thanks...

Personally I find tatoos look rough and cheap, and excessive piercings (nose, belly button etc.) just downright ugly, unless you're a zulu of course ...

Sorry - probably a bit strong but just my personal opinion....

I do have my ears pierced which took me about 15 years to convince myself to do... just think the human body is a beautiful thing (in most cases) just as it is...
