With all these doom and gloom posts, about why we are not that great at the moment, think one thing we have forgotten is how much we miss Orlandi, check out his stats with us, the amount of goals, assists and more importantly we win most of the time when he plays. Not rocket science to work out that we miss him so much as we do not have another player quite like him, he creates chances, from wide and central, he also can take a good free kick. Only lost 3 games last year which he played in and 4 this season, although he has not been fit and some of them were when he was sub. Think he is major reason why we struggle in midfield. Love to see a midfield of Crofts, Ince, Orlandi, Stephens, now that would be good. Problem is Andrews, JFC, Ince, just does not work or create anything, so we then scream for Lua Lau to come on to create something, as we have nothing coming from the middle. Just a thought.

I think someone said twice and many goals and assists than Zaha and he went for £10-15 Million, makes you think that maybe the stats do not lie, with us missing our 'best' player according to stats and Zaha, proving that maybe he was not as good as people thought.

He's a cracking player and one of our most creative. He's also one of the most injured.

We're also missing Bridcutt. It's getting more and more evident, especially when we're forced into starting Andrews or JFC.

Only on a pay as he plays contract and charging him for the use of our medical team and facilities.

Quality is hard to attract and he does have it. Fitness is clearly a concern but our medical team are going to have a far better view of his 'issues' than us. If they offer him a new deal then they must think he has a fair chance of playing week in week out.

I agree with 90% of your post, we have some very talented players in our squad who are blighted by injury. I would like to see Ince, Stephens, Orlandi and Crofts get a decent run in the side. Not only is that a nicely balanced midfield they will also contribute or create many of the goals we are currently missing out on. Just think of the goals Orlandi scored last season and Crofts this.
